Hello everyone! This is Aryan Kumar, an ex-student of UCMAS Wadgaonsheri Abacus Centre. I was a proud student of this esteemed institute for 6 years. It was a memorable journey throughout the years and I still recall those classes that I took under Mrs. Avanti Magidwar. It was under Avanti ma’am’s guidance and mentorship that I was able to win 1 state level and 2 on the national level. I became a UCMAS graduate in 8th grade. These years with ma’am have helped me with my quick mental calculations & cognitive skills. It has also helped me to create a beaming self-confidence. It were these skills which helped me to score 94% in class 10th Board examination. Avanti Ma’am’s dedication and hard work has continued to be a constant source of inspiration in my ventures. I am Mandakini Panigrahi, parent of Pratyusha Panigrahi, thrilled to share my child’s transformative journey with UCMAS Abacus. Over the past 7 years, she progressed through various levels, developing remarkable mental math skills, confidence, and concentration.

Hi, I’m Kshitij Vishnu Cheche. I am currently in 11th grade, and I scored 96% on the CBSE board in 10th grade. I learned about the abacus from the UCMAS class in Kalburgi, located in Indrayani Nagar. This experience helped me overcome my fear of mathematics, making my calculation skills much stronger. It not only aided me in my initial grades but also in higher classes, contributing to my achievement of 97% in CBSE Mathematics. The abacus not only helps with academics but also benefits our daily lives by improving memory, speeding up calculations, and fostering confidence. It is just that we have to practice it regularly to make it our weapon against fear of Maths.

Hello Reader! This is Sanket Sachin Madhekar, ex-student of UCMAS Kalaburagi Abacus Centre. I was a member of this institute from my 1st grade to 9th grade. It was a memorable journey with this institute.

It was the guidance & mentorship of Mrs. Suguna Kalaburagi Ma’am that I was able to participate in National & State Level competition and receive my First Runner-up Trophy. I became a UCMAS abacus graduate by 10th grade. These 5–6 years with UCMAS Kalaburagi Abacus Centre helped me improve my mental ability, mathematical skills & cognitive skills.

It were these skills which helped me score 96% in 10th CBSE Board, 82.4% in 12th CBSE Board and a remarkable 96 percentile in JEE Mains 2024. I really appreciate Ma’am’s teaching methodology of focusing on improvement rather than rote learning. She also gave life-lessons & her one-on-one interactions were enough for us to identify and work on our mistakes.

Words are not enough to express my gratitude. At last but not the least, having a teacher-cum-mentor like her is a blessing.

Abacus has helped a lot, not only in maths but also helping me focus better on other subjects & also has improved my IQ. I had finished till 8th level & it has definitely played a role in improving my academics. Would recommend all to try out abacus. It will not only help them in maths & calculations but also improve concentration & mental speed.

My Abacus journey, from Level 1 all the way to graduation after completing all my 8 levels, has been one of the most enriching experiences of academic life. It has not only sharpened my calculation skills but also brought about a remarkable improvement in my cognitive abilities such as concentration, memory, and logical thinking with visualizing mentally. Throughout this journey, I witnessed a visible transformation in how I approached learning. The consistent practice and mental math techniques help me perform faster and more accurately, not just in Abacus, but across all my academic subjects! And the competitions held every year — may it be STATE LEVEL, NATIONAL LEVEL or INTERNATIONAL GRADE EXAM — all of these gave us more confidence and tremendous personal growth and mental agility. This increased my focus in all over areas of academics. Also the runners up trophies, merit certificates are just very encouraging! A major reason behind this growth has been the incredible mentorship of AVANTI MAGIDWAR MA’AM. Her one-to-one guidance, patient teaching and constant support played a vital role in my development. She made all the sessions very interesting, inspiring and joyful. Her dedication and personal attention made me feel motivated to give my best at every step. Completing 8 LEVELS feels big achievement because I have developed a lifelong skill that will always stay with me. I am truly grateful to AVANTI MA’AM for being a wise mentor throughout this journey.

Hello, This is Asmi Nagpure (UCMAS – Level 7 student) Joining UCMAS has truly been one of the most rewarding decisions of my academic journey. From the very first class, I was introduced to a whole new way of learning that went beyond traditional classroom methods. The abacus training not only sharpened my mental math abilities but also significantly enhanced my concentration, memory and overall cognitive skills.

What truly made the experience special was the engaging and encouraging environment created by the teachers. They ensured that learning was not only effective but also enjoyable. Each session pushed me to challenge myself while having fun. I am immensely grateful for the constant guidance of Mrs. Avanti Ma’am under whose support I was able to take part in numerous state and national-level competitions, even earning several trophies across the majority of the competitions I took part in.
